The death is announced of the late Joseph Sitaram a/k/a Lakhan, son of the late Sitaram and Lakhia of Sussanah’s Rust, Demerara River.

He was the beloved husband of Maheshwari Devi Sitaram a/k/a Champa.

He was the loving father of Terry, Sunil, Sudesh, Natasha, and Joey.

Father-in-law of Aruna, Barabara, Shelly, and Mahendra.

Grandfather of Terrence, Nicholas, Jonathan, Celenia, Shane Ashton, Harry, and Riaaz.

Great-grandfather of Krishna, Arjun, Ivan, and one other.

Brother of Dave (Canada), Shakun (Guyana), and the late Rameshwar, Kishore, Dorothy, Tullaman, Brown, Tara, Lilian, and Chinee.

Brother-in-law of Sandy, Kissoon, and the late Janak, Cyril, and others.

He was also uncle (Mamoo/ChaCha) of Ravi, Nadira, Chitra, Sean, Sharmila, Ramdial, Devi, Vishal, Ishree, Reita, Baba, Data, Bonnie, Carmen, ShirPaul, Prem, Vishnu, Shalini, Teddy, Rajendra, and many others.
