Justina Chandler

Justina "Chris" (nee Bihuniak) Chandler, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the age of 97.  Justina was a lifelong parishioner of S.S. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and was a member of the St. Aedan's Group here in Jersey City.  She was 8 out of 9 siblings.  She was a factory worker for most of her life, and her family will always remember her as a loving mother, mother-in-law, and a good hearted person. 

Justina is survived by her caring and loving daughter, Catherine Cuesta and her husband, Daniel.  She is predeceased in life by her husband, Ewell; by her parents, Theodore and Katheryn (nee Woytowich); and by her siblings.  

Visitation is Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service is Friday, August 21, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the funeral home.  Mass is 10:00 AM at S.S. Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 549 Bergen Ave., Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington.
