In Loving Memory of Kleanthes “Clem” Parmagos
November 28, 1961– October 8, 2024
Kleanthes "Clem" Parmagos, a devoted family man, proud Greek-American, and skilled union electrician, passed away in his home on October 8, 2024. Kleanthes lived a life rooted in love, faith, and dedication to his family.
He leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Maria Elisa and Cristina Parmagos. He was also a loving brother to Efy (Parmagos) McCarthy. Predeceased to his parents Peter and Mary Parmagos born in Antissa, Mytilene, Greece. He was also a proud pet parent to his loyal dog Romeo and to the late Princess and Mimi.
Kleanthes held his heritage and faith close to his heart, embracing his Greek-American roots with pride. He loved spending time outdoors, especially in his younger years, when he could be found hunting and fishing. Known for his passion for 80s freestyle music and his unwavering desire to help others.
In his later years, he selflessly devoted himself to caring for his parents, ensuring they were supported with love and respect. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he touched.
Visitation is Friday, November 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Trisagion will take place during the visitation. Funeral is Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, 661 Montgomery Street, Jersey City. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Kleanthes' memory to Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City.
