Larry Torres

Larry Torres, 63, of Hoboken, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Hackensack Hospital from cancer.

Larry was born September 24th, 1958 and graduated from Hoboken High School.

Although he was born in Hoboken, NJ, his hometown was Jersey City, NJ where he coached little league between Washington Park and Pershing Field for many years, where he was known by many as Coach Larry. He loved coaching and teaching kids to play sports and sportsmanship. 

Larry is survived by his wife Sheila Fitzpatrick-Torres of Paterson, NJ. His 3 children, their spouses and 9 grandchildren.

Visitation is on Friday, August 12, 2022, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City).  Cremation will be private.
