Linda Geiger Obituary

Linda Geiger passed away peacefully surrounded by love, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories with the family and friends who meant everything to her.

Linda was born on May 17, 1958 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to her loving mother, Genevieve Stroz Flysta. She grew up in Rahway and later lived in Washington and Hillsborough before eventually settling in Lopatcong, New Jersey, where she enjoyed her retirement years.

Above all else, Linda was devoted to her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Geiger; her loving daughter, Jennifer Gill and her husband James, and their children Mason and Sabrina; and her son, Thomas Geiger and his wife Samantha, and their son Tyler. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Flysta and his wife, and her sister in law, Theresa Geiger.

Linda was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Geiger, whose memory remained close to her heart.

Linda found her greatest joy in caring for the people she loved. She treasured time spent with family and friends, especially relaxing and laughing together by the pool. She was also a devoted fan of the Hallmark Channel, something she especially enjoyed sharing with her sister in law Theresa. Linda had a gentle heart and a special love for animals, and she was a proud and devoted cat mom to her beloved cats, Jade and Cali.

Those who knew Linda will remember her warmth, loyalty, and the way she quietly made others feel cared for and welcome. Her presence brought comfort and companionship to many, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Private services will be held for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to the American Cancer Society.

The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Ennoble Care Hospice, as well as the many friends and neighbors who supported Linda and her family throughout her journey. Their kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be announced on a later date. Please continue to check the obituary page for updates.
