Lorraine D (Hock) Valvano

Lorraine D. Valvano, 66 of Easton, PA formerly of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on January 29, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.   Born in Jersey City to the late, John Hock & Ann Whalen, she was a life long resident before moving to Pennsylvania in 2006 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.   She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also loved to listen to Motown Music and watch Comedy shows. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Valvano & sister, Mary Zetlin.

She is the beloved mother of Steven Valvano, Jr., Sean Valvano & Jennifer Mercado & her husband, Victor, cherished grandmother of Bryanna, Brandon, Lisa, Victor, Destiny, Christian, Alexis, Mia, Dominic, Nevaeh and great grandchildren; Khalany, Malany, Leilany, Ja’Siah.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ (For GPS use 14 Stagg Street).

Relatives and Friends are invited to meet directly at the Cemetery on Monday at 1:00 p.m. SHARP at the William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. No services at the funeral home Monday morning.
