Luis Eduardo Brito

Con mucho dolor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Luis Eduardo Brito, quien partió de este mundo demasiado pronto el 12 de febrero de 2025 en Salcedo, República Dominicana. Nacido el 21 de junio de 1990 en Jersey City, NJ, Luis fue un hijo, hermano y amigo muy querido, cuyo espíritu alegre dejó huellas en todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo.

Luis era el hijo adorado de Cristina Brito y Emilio Eduardo Brito, y el hermano querido de Genesis Brito y James Brito. Creció en Jersey City, donde pasó toda su vida, dejando una marca imborrable en su comunidad. Se graduó de P.S. #24 y Ferris High School, y siempre persiguió sus sueños con entrega y entusiasmo.

Desde los 10 años, Luis siguió los pasos de su padre como DJ, llevando alegría a innumerables fiestas con su amor por la música, en especial su género favorito, el Típico. Su pasión por el béisbol empezó desde pequeñito, jugando en la Liga Roberto Clemente en Jersey City desde los cinco años y más tarde en Ferris High School.

Luis era el alma de cada reunión: un ser carismático, extrovertido y con un don especial para hacer reír a todo el mundo. Siempre tenía un chiste, un baile o una mano amiga para quien lo necesitara. Su bondad, su alegría y su amor por la vida jamás serán olvidados.

Luis deja un legado de risas, música y amor. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue corto, su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.

El velorio será el jueves 27 de febrero de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luis Eduardo Brito, who left us too soon on February 12, 2025, in Salcedo, Dominican Republic. Born on June 21, 1990, in Jersey City, NJ, Luis was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched everyone he met.

Luis was the cherished son of Cristina Brito and Emilio Eduardo Brito and a loving brother to Genesis Brito and James Brito. He grew up in Jersey City, where he spent his entire life, leaving a lasting impact on his community. A graduate of P.S. #24 and Ferris High School, he pursued his passions with dedication and enthusiasm.

From the young age of 10, Luis followed in his father’s footsteps as a DJ, bringing joy to countless celebrations with his love for music, especially his favorite genre, Tipico. His passion for baseball started early, playing for the Roberto Clemente League in Jersey City from the age of five and later for Ferris High School.

Luis was the life of the party—an outgoing, fun-loving soul who had an incredible ability to make everyone around him laugh. Whether through jokes, dancing, or lending a helping hand, he was always there to lift the spirits of his family and friends. His kindness, humor, and love for life will never be forgotten.

Luis leaves behind a legacy of laughter, music, and love. Though his time with us was short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City.
