Manuel “Noly” Reyes, Jr., 41, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Noly was born in Hoboken on May 17, 1978, and was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. Noly had a love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and purchased his first Harley at the age of 19.
He was predeceased by his father, Manuel “Big Noly” Reyes, Sr., his brother, Michael “Star” Romero, and grandmothers, Isabella Roman and Aida Lopez.
Noly is the loving husband to Maria “Chita” Reyes, and loving son of Violet Rivera. He is the caring father of Myleen, Xavian, Noah, and Nolynah; a caring stepfather of Sheila, Sheilala, and Sheina; loving brother of Jason, Alex, Anthony, Raul, and Kassandra. He is the devoted grandfather of Andrew “Pookie,” Amira, and Amir. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Visitation is on Friday, October 18, 2019, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Funeral will begin on Saturday, October 19, 2019, 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
