Margaret Mary Wares

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary Wares, a beloved mother and grandmother, on March 25, 2025. Margaret was born in Jersey City, NJ, on February 22, 1964, and spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Margaret was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including cooking meals for her sons, enjoying delicious desserts, and spending quality time playing with her grandchildren. Her love for soap operas kept her entertained and connected to her favorite stories.

Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Eric Cosgrove. She is survived by her son, Patrick Oriani, and her daughter-in-law, Christina Oriani, along with her cherished grandchildren, Charlee Shea Oriani and Niccolo Eric Oriani. Above all, Margaret treasured her role as a mother and grandmother. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A viewing will be held at Riotto Funeral Home in Jersey City, NJ, on Sunday, March 30th, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. All who knew and loved Margaret are invited to join her family in celebrating her life.

Margaret's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Visitation is Sunday,  March 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Cremation is private.
