Margery Lombardi

Margery M. Lombardi, 85, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.  Margery was a loving mother to all of her family and her beloved animals.  As she would say, "Life was a black labrador!"  Everything she did was for her children.  She was kind-hearted and never quick to anger. Every day spent with her was a special one. She was a fantastic chef; Her family knew that on any day of the week, Margery would whip up one of her special meals no matter how tired she felt.  She was a parishioner of St. Anne's Church, and always attended with her sidekick, her Aunt Irene "Rene" Ackerly.  Margery also enjoyed playing games on her tablet, especially Scrabble.  

Margery was the beloved wife of the late, Ronald J. Lombardi; caring daughter of the late, Irving and Margaret Olmstead; beloved niece of the late Irene "Rene" Ackerly; devoted mother of Mary Ann "Mair" Walls and her puppy partners, Minnie, Bambi, Buster & Lovey; Michael J. Lombardi and his partner, Fran Quinn; & Ronald J. "Butch" Lombardi and his wife, Sherry Lei Valmoja-Lombardi; treasured grandmother of James P. Walls, Jessica Lombardi-Larkin, Vanessa L. Oriani, Ronald "Johnny" Lombardi, Gabriel M. Zecher, Joshua D. Lombardi, Nicholas J. Mahaffey, Joseph M. Lombardi, & Gianna M. Lombardi; adored great-grandmother of Crosby R. Larkin and Flynn J. Larkin; a beloved pet mother of Lovey, Minnie, Bambi, Buster, Mickey, Prince, Malia, Bluey, and Turk.

Visitation is Monday, July 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in memory of Margery to any charity of choice that associates to animals, or to the ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org/).
