Maria E (Morales) Rivera

Maria E. Rivera, 86 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on March 9, 2021.  Born February 15, 1935 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to the late Pablo Colon & Catalina Morales, she lived most of her life in Jersey City.   On November 19, 1951 she married her beloved husband, Santos Luis Rivera.  They would have been married 70 years, this November.  Maria devoted her life to raising her beautiful family and serving the Lord. 

She is the beloved wife of Pastor Santos Luis Rivera, loving mother of Awilda Quinones, Betsy Rivera, Santos Rivera, Jr., Ernesto Rivera, Eddie Rivera, Mirna Rivera, David Rivera, Jesus Rivera, Margarita Rivera & Manuel Rivera, dear sister of Benjamin Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Olga Rodriguez, Julio Colon & Noemi Colon.   She is also the proud, faith filled, loving grandmother of 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren & 6 great great-grandchildren. 

Visitation & Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of God, 441 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ.   

Mausoleum Entombment will take place on Monday, March 15th at 1:30 p.m. at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ.   (All are asked to meet directly at the Cemetery)
