Marina Angelica Ugolini, age 44, of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Marina was a Lieutenant in the Jersey City Police Department, having served for nineteen years. She was an alumni of Jersey City Medical Center and Ambucar EMS. Marina took pride in helping people by devoting her life to serving those in need. She transported the first medical patient to the New Jersey Medical Center when it was relocated in 2004. Marina was a fierce lover of animals, especially her dogs, Jersey, Trouble, and Missy. Marina was the glue that held her family and friends together. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and knitting.
Marina is the cherished mother of Gail Mulligan; loving stepmother of Alex and Anthony Cruz; beloved daughter of Marion (nee Soini) and the late Elio Ugolini from the Republic of San Marino; partner in crime and ride or die sibling of Rosa, Marino, Michael (US Navy), Julia, and Maria; nieces and nephews, Kristen, Jessica, Emily, Allison, Ashley, Timothy, Aiden, Michael, Aaliyah, Nancy, and Gabriella. Also surviving are caring extended family members, Rosana, Ivanna, Luigi, Leo, Rita and Ugo, all residing in San Marino.
Visitation is Friday, May 31st, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306. (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral is Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral mass is at 10:00 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 691 West Side Ave., Jersey City. Cremation will be private.
