Marisol Rodriguez
July 12, 1970 – April 25, 2025
Marisol Rodriguez, age 54, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on April 25, 2025. She was born and raised in Jersey City to Beatriz Rodriguez and the late, Rafael Angel Rodriguez. Marisol moved to Puerto Rico, where she welcomed her two children; but in 2006, she returned to Jersey City to continue her journey surrounded by loved ones.
Marisol is survived by her beloved husband, Juan Franco; her cherished children, Fernand Nagel and Nagelys Marie; and her devoted step-sons, Jan Carlos and Jean Paul. She was a loving sister to Angel Rafael, Maribel, Maria, and Angelica; brother in laws: Orlando, Ramon, and Junito. She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews: Crystal, Alyssa, Rafael, Orlandito, Angel Jr., Mariah, and Jadiel, as well as her great-nephew, Jahvier.
Marisol's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Together, they shared a deep love for baseball and softball—sports that defined much of their childhood and adulthood and brought lasting friendships that became family over time. She was a loving, humble woman of unwavering faith. Her resilience, warmth, and light touched everyone she encountered. Marisol was a true fighter until the very end.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped bring joy and laughter to Marisol’s days. A special thank you to the Rodriguez, Hernandez, Franco, Estremera, and Muñoz families, whose unwavering support through life’s ups and downs was a constant blessing.
Marisol’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
