Mark Artificio, age 70, of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Mark loved to hunt, camp, and be outdoors. Everyone remembers him as a fantastic athlete, especially being gifted in football and baseball. He was a kind, caring person and everyone will truly remember him as nice guy with a wonderful smile on his face. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church, Jersey City. He was also an avid music fan, especially the Doors. He loved the Marines, which he was a US Veteran having served during Vietnam. He took great pride in being a veteran that he donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and to the Disabled American Veterans.
Mark is the beloved son of the late, Michael and Dorothy; cherished brother of JoAnn and Christine; treasured uncle of Janna and Noah. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City.
