Mary (Iavarone) Critelli

Mary Critelli (nee: Iavarone), 88 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on September 10, 2023 at Bayonne Medical Center.  Born in Jersey City, on August 1, 1935 to the late Genaro Iavarone & Lena DiSpirito, she was a lifelong resident of Jersey City.   Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.  Spending time with her family, attending church functions and visiting her friends for a cup of coffee. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Andrew Critelli, Sr., son, Andrew Critelli, Jr. and siblings Ralph, Fiore “Joe” & Anthony Iavarone & Vincenza Boldin.

She is survived by her children, Mary Critelli & Anthony Critelli & her grandchildren, Dana & Andrew Mastrolia & Antoinette Critelli.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co. (for GPS use 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City, NJ)

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass is be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
