Mary Jane Dombrowski

Mary Jane Dombrowski (nee Lesko), 96, entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2026.

Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Jersey City, Mary Jane spent her life rooted in family, faith, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She later moved to North Bergen where she lived for 54 years.

She worked for many years as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Korvettes & Ames before her retirement.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Dombrowski. She is survived by her 2 loving sons, Charles Dombrowski and his wife Marie of Bayonne, and Robert Dombrowski and his wife Patricia of Lodi; her cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Charlie, Elizabeth, and Katelyn; and her adored great-grandchildren, Cole, William, Dominic, Rylee, and Liyah. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also predeceased by her siblings: Edward Lesko, Joseph Lesko, Helen Lesko, Ann Santoro, Frank Lesko, and Paul Lesko.

One of seven siblings, Mary Jane was the oldest in her family to reach the remarkable age of 96, a reflection of the determination and enduring spirit that carried her throughout her Life. She was a woman of deep and unwavering faith, which was a source of comfort and strength throughout her years. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Union City.

Mary Jane enjoyed the simple things in life, but above all she was an avid New York Yankees fan and took joy in rooting for her team.

Mary Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The memories she created and the love she gave will remain a lasting gift to all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS, please use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306). Funeral services are Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 10:00 AM at the funeral home, 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Union City. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
