Maxine J Sullivan

Maxine J. Sullivan, 85, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.  

Maxine was a loving, nurturing, disciplined, and wise soul who lived a long and meaningful life. She devoted herself to caring for others in many capacities and continued to do so until her passing. Her immense strength and kindness were evident whenever she encountered someone in need, whether a friend, a family member, or a stranger.

Maxine firmly believed that everyone deserved to be treated with dignity and respect, in both life and death. She will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she so generously touched.

Funeral Mass is Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victories Church, 2217 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made a charity of your choice in Maxine's memory.
