Meng Quan Huang, a respected colleague, a devoted father, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on November 25, 1932, in China, Meng brought a vibrant spirit to life as he shared his passion for medical science with countless students throughout his teaching career. His thirst for knowledge, kindness to others and love of learning inspired those around him and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
If life is a journey, Meng was a traveler at heart, relishing the opportunity to explore the world and make new friends along the way. He cherished the connections he made, whether they were with his students or fellow teachers.
Meng is survived by his two daughters, Hong Huang and Yan Huang, his common law spouse Xiang Ying Li, and his son-in-law Zheng Zhou. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, curiosity, and unwavering support for his loved ones. He will be remembered fondly and celebrated for the warmth he brought into the lives of so many.
Visitation is Monday, July 20, 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ, 07306 (For GPS it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg St., additional parking lot located on Kennedy Blvd.). Cremation will be private.
