Mercedes Generosa Obituary

Mercedes C. Generosa, 98, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Mercedes was an avid shopper and loved to dance, cook and sing. She will be greatly missed.

Mercedes is survived by her loving children, Annie Generosa, Roma Cabiles and her husband George, Rosalie Navarro, Ambrose Generosa, Jr. Generosa, Dennis Generosa, and Labella V. Also surviving are many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Mercedes will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services are Tuesday, October 13, 2020, 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Jersey City. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, 823 West Side Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306.
