Michael Angel Gonzalez, 51, of Jersey City, New Jersey, entered the afterlife peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the presence and love of his wife and children at home.
Michael was born and raised in Jersey City, where he attended Assumption All Saints and Saint Peter & Paul grammar schools, as well as Hudson Catholic High School. Upon graduating high school, he pursued studies in Engineering and Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he also met his beloved wife, Lily. She shared his passionate love of music; he is probably best remembered by his college friends as the “House D.J.”, where he would spin his turn-tables at the Tau Kappa Epsilon (T.K.E.) fraternity parties. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own consulting practice, through which he supported numerous clients with technology services. Across his many accomplishments, he always considered one of his greatest successes to be his children, whom he loved dearly. His memory will continue to live in the hearts of his wife, Lily Zariczny and his three children; Michael Zaric Gonzalez, Raquel Alexis Gonzalez and Elena Lily Gonzalez. Michael is also survived by his two older sisters, Kathy Gonzalez Monteiro and Patricia Gonzalez Papadakis, with whom he shared many loving memories.
He will always be remembered for his cheerful smile, his uplifting spirit and his undying sense of humor. Michael expressed that he was inspired by the love and friendship he shared with the many people that touched his life and so, we invite you to share your memories of him on his “Tribute Wall."
