Michael P. Reilly

Michael P. Reilly, 67, passed away on May 13, 2026. Born on June 29, 1958, Michael will be remembered as a loving and kindhearted person who cared deeply for those around him.  He was a graduate of Seton Hall Prep and Princeton University.

He dedicated his career to education, serving as a teacher at the Paterson Adult School of Continuing Education, where he found great fulfillment in guiding, encouraging, and supporting his students. Michael spent his life helping others with great empathy and compassion, both in the classroom and outside. 

Michael enjoyed discovering new stories and expanding his knowledge through the pages of a good book.  Besides being an avid reader, he also enjoyed writing.  At the time of his passing, he recently completed a manuscript. 

Michael is now peacefully reunited with his beloved mother, Elizabeth, and father, John. His loving spirit and memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family, friends, students, and all those whose lives he touched.

Visitation is Monday, June 29, 2026 from 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Church, 122 Ferry Street, Jersey City. Inurnment is at 12:45 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington.
