Michelle "Mickey" Tatusko, 76, formerly of Hoboken, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Michelle was a parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Jersey City. She was a very intelligent woman, who worked for the Trust Company of New Jersey for many years. She was a generous and kindhearted woman, who embraced everyone. She would lend an ear and listen to all. Michelle took charge in taking care of her family. She always put others before her own needs. Michelle enjoyed gardening, cooking, and celebrating the Holidays. Christmas was her favorite event. She was known for her famous homemade stuffing, and for her baked ziti pasta and meatballs. Her family will remember her as being a helping hand, always traveling to go shopping, going to flea markets, and collecting antiques. Her family will also remember her as being, "the life of the family."
Michelle is the beloved wife of the late, Alan, Sr.; cherished mother of Alan, Jr. and his wife, Halecia; treasured grandmother of Madelyn; adored sister of Elizabeth Cerbie, Rene Magnone, and the late Lucienne Haberjan Feely; devoted daughter of the late Frank and Lucielle Haberjan; and beloved mother in law of Helen Singer. Michelle is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and her family in Antwerp, Belgium.
Visitation is Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. Funeral is 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the funeral home. Funeral mass is at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 144 Ferry Street, Jersey City. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd. North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Michelle's memory to St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City.
