Mildred “Millie” Gonzales-Manzano, beloved wife, mother, grandmother who will remember her as "Mima," and the heart of her family, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at the age of 64, surrounded by the love of those closest to her.
Millie was born on May 15, 1961, in Neptune, New Jersey. She was a woman of strength, warmth, and deep devotion to her family. She gave of herself fully—through her care, her presence, and the quiet ways she made everyone around her feel loved and supported. Her life reflected resilience, compassion, and unwavering love.
She dedicated many years of her life working as a bus aide for the Bayonne Board of Education, where she showed the same kindness and care that defined who she was.
Millie was a devout member of the Love of Jesus Family Church, where her faith guided her life and the way she cared for others.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank, and her daughters, Tiffany Pabon and Ashley Pabon. She was a proud grandmother to Jaylin, Christian, Abigail, and twins Faith and Grace, who brought her immense joy.
Millie is also survived by her sisters, Gladys, Milagros, Carmen, Mary, Lydia, Trisha, and Gloria, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love and family.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her daughter, Jessica, her beloved parents, Secundina and Gumercindo, and her brother, Frankie, who preceded her in passing.
In her passing, Millie performed a final selfless act by donating her organs to help others in need, continuing her legacy of compassion and giving.
Millie’s love and presence will be deeply missed, but the imprint she left on the hearts of her family will never fade. She was the kind of woman whose love held everything together, and that love will continue to live on in every life she touched. Though she is no longer with us, she remains in every memory, every lesson, and every moment of love shared by those who knew her.
