Mitchell Mancivalano Obituary

Mitchell Joseph Mancivalano, 50, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2025. A beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, Mitch’s kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Mitch graduated from St. Joseph's High School, where he was a proud member of the baseball and football teams. In his youth, he was also a skilled tennis player, earning recognition as a highly ranked competitor in New England and sharing his love of the sport by teaching others. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Syracuse University, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and cultivated many lifelong friendships and cherished memories.

Mitch built a successful career, working at Morgan Stanley and later at UBS and Accenture, where his dedication, intelligence, and leadership left a lasting impact on his colleagues and clients. He was also a respected mentor, guiding and inspiring countless individuals in their professional journeys.

An avid snowboarder, runner, and hiker, Mitch had a deep love for the mountains, especially the Catskills, where he often found peace and joy in nature’s beauty. His adventurous spirit extended beyond the outdoors—he was also passionate about traveling, finding inspiration and connection in the places he encountered around the world. He also adored his two dachshunds, Frances and Georgie, who brought endless joy and companionship to his life.

He is survived by his wife, Megan Albert; his parents, Gail and Joseph Mancivalano of Estero, FL; his sister, Johanna Mancivalano (David) of Little Compton, RI; and many cherished friends.
