Nancy R (Azzarello) DeFelice

Nancy DeFelice, 85 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on December 20th at Jersey City Medical Center.  Born August 4, 1933 in Jersey City to the late Samuel Azzarello & Jean Castaldi, she was a lifelong resident.  Nancy worked for many years as a Teacher’s Aide with the Jersey City Public School System.  She was a resident of UNICO Towers, downtown and enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing with her friends in the building.  Nancy was a member of the Holy Rosary Seniors Group and a past Lector for the Church.   She was a creative writer, and would often write poems for her family and friends. 

She is the beloved mother of Julie Ann Kenny, Nicholas DeFelice (Christine), Gina Marto (Frank), Karen Vogt (Robert) & Theresa DeFelice (Danny), loving sister of Roseann Pagnetti & the late Russell & Gerald Azzarello, cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City (For GPS use 14 Stagg Street).  

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, December 26th at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
