Nick Chiolis

Nick Chiolis of Jersey City, NJ. entered into eternal life on Sunday June 23, 2019. He was born in Athens, Greece and moved to Jersey City when he was 11, where he resided for 55 years. Mr. Chiolis worked in banking for most of his career and was a landlord for several properties. He was a devoted member of Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church in Jersey City. Nick was a loving son, brother, cousin and nephew. He always looked to help those around him. His generosity, curiosity, and devotion to his friends and family will hold a place in our memory forever. 

Mr. Chiolis was predeceased by his father, Spyridon Karpodinis and his mother, Maria Papafotiou, and his adoptive parents Mary (Karpodinis) and Alex Chiolis. He is survived by his brother Lambros Karpodinis of Brick Township, NJ and his two sisters Stavroula (Karpodinis) Giannelos of Athens, Greece and Yannah (Karpodinis) Mazzini of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. 

A visitation for Nick will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home. The religious service will be held at 3:00 PM, and will be guided by Father Apostolos P.
