Nilda V Cruz

Nilda V Cruz 85, of Jersey City, NJ, formerly of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, passed away on Saturday, October 26,2024.

Nilda, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother, was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, on June 15, 1939. At 13, she came to the New York City, eventually making her way to her lifelong home of Jersey City, where she raised her 4 children Doris, Angel, Gino and Daniel. She worked as a Nurse's aide for over 30 years, helping the sick and elderly, while sharing her humor and care with all those around her.
Nilda was preceded in death by her parents, and her sons Angel, Daniel and Gino. Although she is no longer on this earth, her love and legacy will live on through her family. Her daughter Doris and her son in law Eddie, daughters in law Milagros and Wanda, her grandchildren Gino Jr., Jasmine, Munet, Jessica, Damon, Gina, Gabriel and Gabrielle, as well as her  great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family will miss her immensely, but are at peace knowing that she is in heaven with the Lord and free from suffering and illness. For the rest of their lives, they will all honor and cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 1 ,2024 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.
