Noemi Sanchez, born on March 14, 1955, in Jersey City, NJ, passed away on May 26, 2025, in Old Bridge, NJ.
Noemi will be remembered as a loving mother, and as a faithful woman who served our Lord for many years at the First Christian Pentecostal Church in Jersey City. Noemi's presence will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
At some point she worked as a dental assistant at Dr. Jeffrey Seiger's Orthodontics office in Jersey City Heights.
She found fulfillment as a fervent worshiper and part of musical group Jehova-Nissi, and as a nurturing stay-at-home mom, supporting her daughter, Melisa de Jesus.
Noemi was known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She had a profound love for worshipping, often participating in community gatherings that filled her heart with joy. A passionate music lover, Noemi could often be found listening to her favorite songs, which added joy and happiness to her life. She also enjoyed the calming pastime of art coloring, expressing her creativity in colorful ways that brought her enjoyment.
She is survived by her wonderful daughter Melisa De Jesus, mother Aurora Morales, sister Damary Garcia, and brothers Eladio Jr. Morales, Carlito Morales, and Eliasar Morales, all of whom will hold her memory close. Noemi's legacy of love, warmth, and joy will continue to inspire those who knew her, as they cherish the countless beautiful moments spent together.
Noemi was preceded in death by husband Eliezer Sanchez, father Eladio Morales, brother Daniel Morales.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at First Christian Pentecostal Church, 441 Jersey Ave., Jersey City, NJ, 07302. Funeral will begin on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at church. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, NJ.
In lue of flowers, donation can be made to the family to assist with funeral services.
