Pedro A Lopez "Papo"

Pedro A. Lopez, "Papo," 75, of Jersey City; formerly of San Sebastian, Puerto Rico; entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 5, 2023.  He was an active member of St. Anthony Padua Roman Catholic Church in Union City, NJ. He took great pride in spending time with his family and friends. Had a love for baseball, music and dance, shooting pool, and was very empathetic toward animals. 

Pedro is the beloved husband of Maria; adored father of Pedro Jr. (wife Carmen) Veridiana "Betty", Ariel (wife Rosa), Ana Llanos (husband Luis), and Maribell Mercado (husband Santiago). Cherished grandfather of Yariel Acevedo Jr., Petey and Gianna Lopez. He leaves behind a total of 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Friday, November 10, 2023 at funeral home from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City.
