Peter Gabriel Surach

Peter Gabriel Surach of Jersey City passed away on September 6, 2023 at age 65.  Peter G. Surach, CPA, received his MBA from Baruch College, and owned his own tax preparation business in Jersey City for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the guitar to his favorite music, taking care of animals, and gardening and fishing in the Poconos. 

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Cris (Paszul) Surach, daughters Melissa Surach, Stephanie Surach, and Nicole Surach, siblings Francine (Brian) Surach-McCarthy, Phyllis Surach,  Patrick (Awilda) Surach and nephews Patrick Surach, Jr. and Anthony Surach.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Theresa Surach.

Visitation is Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Cremation will be private.  There will be an inurnment on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave., Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://pancan.org/) in memory of Peter.
