Philip James Lore

Philip James Lore, 68, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. 

Philip loved animals and devoted his time to caring for and rescuing them. He was an avid skier, enjoyed spending time at the shooting range, traveling and worked at Tullo Truck Stop for 50 years. He will be greatly missed.

Philip was predeceased by his loving parents, James and Angela Lore. 

Surviving are his beloved siblings, Susan Lore, and James Lore; His cherished niece, Erica. His brother-in-law, Anthony Verga; His dear cousin Edie DelVecchio. Also surviving are many cousins.

Visitation is Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas' Church, Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
