Ralph Joseph Ferraro

Ralph Joseph Ferraro, Sr., age 86, passed away on May 27, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Helen Patricia (Pat) for 53 cherished years. Loving father of Stephen (Patty), Ralph Jr., Jo-Ann (Paul) Paterson, Joseph (Connie), Trisha (Russ) Ortisi. Proud grandfather to Ryan (Michelle), Carson (Brittany), Christopher (Emily), Matthew (Lauren), Joseph (Jessica), Michael (Noelle), Anthony, Stephanie, Matthew (Rikki), the late Elizabeth, and 13 great-grandchildren.. Ralph is also survived by his companion Margaret Heins and her family.

Ralph was born on July 6, 1938, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate of St. Peter's Preparatory class of 1955. After high school, he attended Newark College of Engineering, earning a degree in electrical engineering. Ralph was well-known and respected for his expertise and pioneering work in the field of power electronics. 

In his life, Ralph enjoyed many things, including golfing, traveling, cooking, volunteering, and most of all, sharing his life stories with his grandchildren. His unique sense of humor and his beautiful smile will be cherished forever.  Ralph's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service will be held at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, New Jersey.
