Raymond M. Slodowski, 69 of Toms River, entered into eternal life on July 28, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. Born in Jersey City, to the late Raymond & Helen (nee: Dzikowicz) he lived there most of his life until moving to Toms River. He was a retired Audit Manager for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey retiring in 2012. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing and visiting Cabo San Lucas.
He is survived his loving wife Sue (nee: Vacca), his daughters Jennifer Artigas (Erik) Dana McCosh (Ben), his adored grandchildren Ethan Artigas, Luca Artigas, Harper McCosh and Rowan McCosh his sisters Victoria and Patricia. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Vincent Vacca and his wife Lisa, his mother-in-law Genoeffa Vacca and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday morning, arriving at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ. (Parking can be found in the two lots on the corner of 6th & Brunswick Sts.).
Mausoleum entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ.
