Richard Ludlow

Richard Ludlow, 54, passed away suddenly on Saturday evening, August 14, 2021. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He poured his great thoughtfulness and energy into his loved ones, and always helped anyone in need. He was a devout Catholic with a mischievous sense of humor always entertaining and making others laugh.

Richard adored fishing, family and friends. He was an excellent builder who used his considerable talent to help others. His huge heart, humor, intelligence, wit, energy, personality and generosity will be deeply missed. We will always love you!

He is survived by daughter Lily Sharp-Ford, her son Haelo, mother of Lily and fiancé Eloise Zeeman, “momsy” Joan Zeeman and Zeeman family, siblings Tommy, Alfred, Christine, Tabatha, Marie, her son Moises, nephew Christian, his son Julian, stepson JD. He will be missed by many friends.

Special note to your spirit- our hearts were and are and will always be connected. I do love you, “dark angel” and always will. Thank you for sharing your heart- we will always be your family and love you.

Cremation was private. Memorial service is Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ.
