Following his service, he went on to work for many years as a security guard at St. Francis Hospital in Jersey City while also serving as the head supervisor for the City of Jersey City Code Compliance, a position he held until the age of 86.
A man defined by his devotion to his wife, Robert’s life was centered on the love he shared with Mary Lou (Petrozzi) Keating. Robert was known as a funny, hardworking, and compassionate man, whose presence was a source of warmth and strength to those around him.
In addition to his work, Robert was a gifted handyman and always willing to lend a hand. His greatest joy was supporting his wife and family in every way possible. His sense of humor and caring nature will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
