Rohini Sundarrao

Rohini Sundarrao, of Jersey City, passed away on October 1, 2026.

Rohini grew up in India, where she spent most of her life before making Jersey City her home for the past 25 years. She was known for her social and easygoing nature and for the way she connected with those around her. Rohini enjoyed meeting people, spending time with family and friends, and creating meaningful relationships that often lasted for many years.

Those who knew Rohini will remember her as a strong, courageous, and determined woman. She faced challenges with resilience and remained a source of positivity and encouragement to those around her. Her strength and outlook on life were an inspiration to many who knew and loved her.

Rohini valued the relationships she built throughout her life and will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she shared with others. Her presence and the memories she created will remain with her family and friends for years to come.

Rohini is lovingly remembered by Sudhir Sundarrao, Asha Pai, Joseph Devassy, Gayathri Sundarrao, Siddharth Hegde, Sanya Joseph, and Shruthi Hegde, along with her extended family and many dear friends.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07306. Cremation will follow at Garden State Crematory.
