Rose Q Cothiere

Rose Quetty Cothiere, also known as Kekette,  who was born in Dondon, Haiti and lived in Brooklyn NY, entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2023 at age 60.

Rose is survived by her children Gessica and Reginald Montreuil, her mother Marie Clivia Antoine, her granddaughter Deborah Montreuil, and her significant other Evens Casimir. 

Rose laughed hard, loved harder, was a compassionate human being which is reflected in her caring for people as a nurse for almost 30 years. Rose loved music, spending time with family and she would often regale those around her with stories and jokes. 

Rose will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Riotto Funeral Home and Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ, 07306 (For GPS it is best to use the address of our parking lot: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Jersey City. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny NJ.
