Saverio Salvemini

Saverio Salvemini, 85, of Jersey City; born in the Province of Bari, town of Molfetta Italy; entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 21, 2022.  He worked for 33 years as a bus driver for the Drogin Bus Company of Bayonne, NJ.  He had a love for Soccer, playing the game as a youth and a young man in Italy, and had a love for animals.  

Saverio was the loving son of Ignazio and Maddalena Salvemini; caring husband to the late, MaryAnn; cherished father of Regina and Steven; cherished grandfather of Amanda Rivera; and beloved brother of Margherita DeCandia, as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was also the beloved brother of the late; Carmine, Corrado, and Michele. 

Cremation was private.  A memorial service will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Saverio's memory to: The Alzheimer's Association of Greater NJ, 23 Vreeland Road #105, Florham Park, NJ 07932. (alz.org)
