Sharon Lionakis

Sharon Lionakis, 72 of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Sharon worked at First Fidelity Bank on Central Avenue and for the Department of Recreation, both in Jersey City. Sharon loved watching her shows and game shows nightly with family. She was also very fond of spending time with her girls at Resorts Casino in AC where she could always be found playing “Her” slot machine. Sharon touched many lives by opening her door and heart to many throughout her adult life. She loved her family, friends, and especially her sons and grandchildren.

Sharon was the loving wife to George Lionakis, the beloved Mother to Jason and his wife Lori, Shawn and his wife Dina, Jonathan, Darren and his wife Michele, treasured grandmother to Jesse, Derek and Skyla, nephew Jacob and niece Jennifer and bonus grandmother to Samantha and great grandmother to Summer Jane and best friend Linda. She was the precious daughter to pre-deceased Grace and Casmir and the loving sister to pre-deceased Robert and Thomas. 

Visitation is Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral Service will be October 9,2024 10:00 AM at Riotto Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
