Stevie Melendez

Stevie Melendez was born on September 16th, 1972 in the Bronx, N.Y. to Eneida Nancy Cappas who predeceased him, and Raymond Melendez Sr. Stevie, 48 of Jersey City, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly in his home and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021.

Stevie is survived by his son Josh Melendez, father Raymond Melendez SR, sisters Nadine Melendez Velez, Jessica Melendez, Melissa Melendez, brothers Raymond Melendez JR, and Daniel Melendez. Stevie was a driven dedicated professional with an unmatched work ethic as a Lead class A mechanic for Gradiant Services. Stevie was a proud father, an avid nature lover, an elite physically fit person who worked on his muscular strength every morning, was heavily involved with nutritional health, and mental health. He enjoyed watching Mixed Martial Arts and could tell you all about each fighter. Stevie was a compassionate, kind hearted person who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
