Stuart Pierre Jr., 53, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Suffern, NY.
Born on March 25, 1973, in Spring Valley, Stu was the son of Stuart Pierre and Yolene Pierre.
From an early age, Stuart developed a love for music and community. He played drums for his local church and the award-winning Ramapo High School Marching Band, and later earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
Stuart went on to earn a full scholarship to the University of Michigan, where he studied aerospace engineering. He later built a long and successful career in information technology, serving for many years as a Systems Engineer.
In 2010, Stuart moved to Jersey City, where he created a life rooted in friendship, connection, and community. He formed lasting bonds and became a steady, familiar presence to many — someone who showed up, stayed engaged, and genuinely valued the people around him.
Stuart will be remembered for his wide-ranging passions, including post-punk music, Arsenal Football Club, women’s sports, politics, science fiction, and technology. He had a curious mind and a deep appreciation for culture, ideas, and innovation.
He is survived by his mother, Yolène Pierre; his grandmother, Amarante Milien; his brother, Errol Pierre; and his cousins, Sephora Touzin, Warguel Jean-Leger, and Stefransky Lemoine.
He was predeceased by his father, Stuart Pierre.
Stuart’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
