Taneysha Michele Simpson-Rivera

Taneysha, fondly known as "Nisha" Michele Simpson-Rivera was born Aug 27, 1978 to the late Gayle Marie Hall and the late Carl W. Simpson. She was raised by her paternal grandmother the late Mrs Allen Doris Simpson after the untimely loss of Gayle.

Nisha was educated in the Union County school system. She was praised by her English teachers who immediately saw her talent and helped her to nurture them. As God placed Nisha on earth with a divine assignment, her kindness and compassion made measurable attributions in helping to service others. This spoke in volumes to her contribution as a volunteer EMT for the North Plainfield rescue squad, and Real Estate Secretary.

As Nisha was known to be funny, full of adventure, and always told it like it was, her benevolence towards her loved ones will always be remembered. Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. Nisha's life was a blessing and her memory a treasure.

Nisha leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sisters: Rakeya Nicholle Simpson and Tamoyia Hall; brothers Carl Simpson and Kamarr Hall; a host of aunts, uncle's, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Nisha's honor on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Riotto Funeral & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07306.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).   Cremation was private.
