Teresa Corrales

Teresa Corrales, 71, of Jersey City, known for her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and culinary
prowess, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in her hometown of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Teresa’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will
forever be cherished by her loved ones.

Teresa was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in cooking and was renowned
for her delectable dishes, especially her tacos, steak and arroz con gandules. Her kitchen was not
only a place of culinary creations but also a hub of warmth and laughter, where friends and
family gathered to share stories and savor her flavorful meals. Teresa’s giving and caring nature
extended beyond the kitchen, as she dedicated herself to ensuring the happiness and well-being
of those around her.

In her leisure time, Teresa indulged in watching Spanish reality shows, listening to music, and
driving on Bergenline in Union City, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a
dedicated grandmother to Noah and Lauren, finding immense delight in their presence. Teresa’s
humor and wit lit up every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the
privilege of knowing her.

Teresa was the beloved mother of Ritza Flora & her husband Nick Flora, Jessenia Iscoa;
cherished grandmother of Noah and Lauren Flora; dear sister of Gloria Corrales, Suyapa
Corrales, Cristobal Corrales and the late Reina Corrales; loving daughter of the late Argentina
and Cristobal Corrales.

Visitation is on May 13, 2024, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation
Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation, it is best to
use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Funeral will begin on Tuesday,
May 14, 2024, 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St.
Aedan's Church, Jersey City. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
