Thomas M Cordes

On Thursday, January 6th 2022, Thomas Cordes, 75, entered into eternal rest. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Jersey City, born in Hoboken, NJ to Margaret and Edward Cordes. He worked for New Penn Motor Express for 40 years.

Thomas was a proud husband and father who prioritized his family over all else. Thomas was a loving companion to both his children and pets, Cody and Simon. He will be most notably remembered for his sense of humor and contagious laugh. He enjoyed making others smile by telling jokes and funny stories. He also loved listening to music, his favorites being The Beatles and The Band. Thomas will be deeply missed and will always have a warm place in our hearts.

Thomas was predeceased by his loving wife of 34 years, Rita Stull Cordes, and brothers, Edward and Michael Cordes. He is survived by his children Lauren and Matthew Cordes, as well as his sisters, Elaine Darling and Joanne Schoning.

Cremation will be private.
