Vasilios Katsilianos

Vasilios N. Katsilianos, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021.

Vasilios was born in Egio, Greece on August 15, 1933, where he lived before emigrating to the United States in 1970 with his wife, Lemonia and 3 small children. Known to his friends as “Bill”, he was the embodiment of the hardworking immigrant who, having been raised with little, worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family. Vasilios was a skilled chef, food was his passion and his table was always full and open to those he loved.

Vasilios was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lemonia, in 2011. He is survived by his loving children, Anna Noutsopoulos and her husband Hristos; Nikolaos Katsilianos and his wife Joanna; and Georgia Keating and her husband Jay. His cherished grandchildren, Kathy, Nicole, George, Alex, Max and his dear great grandchild, Sofia.

Services for Vasilios will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church.
