William H Howlett

William H Howlett, 88, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023. 

William was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. His mother was an Irish immigrant and his father was born in Jersey City.  William worked for many years at Block Drug Company, Jersey City, then worked at Daiwa Securities America, New York City. William was a childhood friend of Flip Wilson. He will be remembered as being a wonderful uncle and wonderful great uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

William is survived by his beloved caretaker/nephew, John Bordt. His loving nieces and nephews, Carole Seper, James Bordt, Maureen Hamza, Dennis, and Robert Chrzanowski and Elaine Mink, and Vincent, Michael, Tommy, and Marie Howlett. Also surviving are many dear great nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his cherished siblings, Thomas Howlett, Jr., Mary Chrzanowski, Eileen Bordt, and John, Walter and Edward Howlett. 

Visitation is Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 3PM to 7PM at Riotto Funeral Home. Funeral is Wednesday, October 25, 10AM at the funeral home followed by an 11AM mass at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
