William O'Neill

William O'Neill, 74, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020; He has joined his late wife Ellen O'Neill ,also his daughter Ann McCarren.

Willie had a fulfilled life, he served a couple of years in the military, and also worked for the post office for many years. He loved life and enjoyed horse playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his wife and his girls. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed watching baseball and having a few drinks with the guys. He was a great man who helped those in need. He would give the shirt off his back if he had to; It's who he was. He will be greatly missed.

I'm gonna leave this poem because he wanted the same as my mother, Ellie: 

To Those I Loved
When I am gone, just release me ,let me go. So I can move into my after glow.
You mustn't tie me down with your tears; let's be happy that we had so many years  I gave you my love, You can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.
 I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone.
 So grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted with  trust.- It's only for awhile that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart.- and then when you must come this way alone. I'll greet you with a smile and a Welcome home.
