Giulia (Castano) Annicchiarico

Giulia Annicchiarico (nee: Castano), 88, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 26, 2016. Giulia was born in Bernalda, Italy on December 5, 1927. She immigrated to the US in 1952 and proudly became a US citizen in 1956.  She will be fondly remembered for the love she shared through her children and grandchildren.  Mouths will be watering with thoughts of her homemade pizza and bread. 

Loving daughter of the late Berardino Castano & Carmela (nee: Orlandino); Beloved wife of the late Emanuel V. Annicchiarico; loving mother of Carmela, Emanuel, Bernard Annicchiarico, Julia Montone & husband Gerardo and the late Joseph Annicchiarico; devoted grandmother of Jacqueline Irlanda, Michele Ferry, Julia Wade and Gerardo Montone; cherished great grandmother of Aleesha, Giovanna, Aibhlinn & Vincent; dear sister of Maria Epifania, Mario, Tullio and Antonio Castano and the late Giuseppina Acito, Nunzio, Giuseppe and Pasquale Castano.

Visitation will be held at Riotto Funeral Home on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 3 PM to 7 PM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Anne's Church at 10:30 AM.  Family & friends will gather at the funeral home prior to mass at 9:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
