To walk in and see the beautiful Ladybug pics on the screens took our breath away. That was a personal touch from a caring funeral home. My family & friends know of our immediate family's passion with Ladybugs and you touched many of us. Thank you for live streaming St. Anne's Church Mass Service as relatives in Texas and my sister in Florida, and others who could not be in attendance were able to be a part of their nephew and cousin's Church Service. I highly recommend funeral services with Riotto Funeral Home. The price of services was very reasonable and affordable. The staff was very understanding , helpful, caring and really worked with us during our time of need. They made everything painless and easy. Our deceased died in another state. I had looked up the logistics of bringing the body to New Jersey. Websites stated I had to contact funeral home in the other state, arranged with airline to bring body here as well as contact a local funeral home. We chose Riotto because of location, parking; services offered and when it was mentioned that they will take care of the transport of body, contacting a funeral home at the other state, we were very thankful. They also took very good care of our deceased which became quite fragile due to autopsies and our not being allowed to claim body for almost a week.

I have been using Riotto Funeral Home for quite a few years. I manage a senior housing facility in Jersey City and have had the privilege of helping many of my residents with making pre funeral arrangements, as well as planning and handling numerous funerals at the time of their passing. Dealing with Riotto Funeral Home is by far outstanding. Richard Riotto and his staff are fantastic to work with. Kind, compassionate, accommodating, and ready to go above and beyond the call of duty to make an unpleasant event dignified, pleasing, and satisfying. The planning process is painless. Their focus on detail is tremendous. They work with you to see that the deceased’s wishes are met in every way possible, from dress preferences, flower choices, hymns, prayers and even nail polish colors and headstones, they cover it all. Their detail for the wake is extraordinary – the hair, nails, and skin tone are all so natural and professionally done. The deceased looks just like they are in a peaceful sleep. Whatever suffering or trauma they may have gone through prior is no longer evident. The loss for those remaining cannot be taken away, but seeing a person look so good and at peace at this time brings much added contentment. They are truly excellent in their profession. Compliments are always numerous from family and friends. The facility itself is modern, warm, cozy, and totally handicapped accessible. Parking is right outside the door and is plentiful.

I reached out to Riotto Funeral Home in October '17 .. I spoke to Richard, who is so kind and professional. My mom was in her early 50s so i had no clue about funeral arrangements. It was such a relief he was so flexible despite being so busy.. I highly recommend this place- Funeral details should be the last thing any family should worry about while going through a difficult time of loosing a loved one. My only complaint is the hindu priest that performed the ritual was HORRIBLE> his name is PRAKASH DAVE. AVOID HIM> He would literally pause in the middle of the puja because he forgot what comes next... smh so unprofessional. I felt so furious how can someone manage to ruin a funeral... Other than that everyone else was smooth & pleasant as it can be.

Excellent Service!! All of the staff is very attentive. My family has used this funeral home for over 30 years and would not even imagine going anywhere else! Having attended many wakes at Riotto's, I know that your work is of the highest caliber.  But I must tell you, Richard, that all of us felt that Anne looked exceptionally beautiful, and we know that we have you to thank for your dedication to your profession.  It is truly an art to be able to restore a person to her former lovely self after a long illness.  We feel you went above and beyond and to merely say "thank you" seems inadequate.  I hope I have been able to convey to you the depth of our appreciation.  Thank you so much for your heartfelt efforts.

Randy, we could not have had a more compassionate or caring person help us to make all of the arrangements.  My parents and I were very upset, and you made us feel totally at home and at ease and made the entire process painless and effortless.  You took care of every detail and all went beautifully from the wake, to the funeral, to the cemetery.  I can't tell you how comforting it was to have you, our friend, take care of these arrangements.  I really can't imagine going through the wake and funeral arrangements with a total stranger.  Anne's funeral was the last thing we ever did for here and it feels wonderful to know that it was first class, all the way.

Saying good-bye to a family member is always difficult.  Thank you both for making Anne's farewell a beautiful and meaningful remembrance of her long and vibrant life.
