Marie T. Verga

Marie T. Verga, 85, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, Marion Section passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016.  Marie was a retired Principal Clerk for the Jersey City Board of Education and a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City.  Marie was one of 7 sisters and always cherished time spent with her loving grandchildren.

Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Vincentina "CeCe" Verga (nee Sammartino); Devoted mother of Jeanette and Frank Verga; Dear sister of Angelina Monte; Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation where Marie's urn will be present on Thursday, April 21, 2016, 10:00am at Our Lady of Mt.
